Performance Tune · from £249

The hardware is usually capable of more than the box delivered.

Factory power limits, mediocre paste, conservative firmware and Windows behaviour all exist to reduce returns. I remove the ones that are holding your machine back, then prove it on the same benchmark suite.

What’s included

  • Full baseline
  • Thermal / power analysis
  • Windows and firmware optimisation
  • GPU / CPU tuning where it actually moves the needle
  • Stability validation
  • Before/after benchmark report

Who it’s for

Gaming laptops that hit the wall after twenty minutes. Desktops that never had a proper thermal or Windows pass. Creators who want lower latency and faster exports. Not for machines that already sit on the limit — I’ll tell you that after the health check.

I do not lead with a 10–30% promise. Some systems have substantial headroom; others don’t. The report is the result.

The six steps

  1. 01

    Tell me about the machine

Make, model or spec, what it is doing, and what you want from it. I will say whether the job is worth doing before you spend anything.

  2. 02

    Baseline & diagnose

Same benchmark suite I will use at the end. Full sensor log under sustained load. Without a clean baseline there is no proof.

  3. 03

    Agree the work

A clear scope and price. If thermals alone will get you most of the way, I will say so. If an upgrade beats a tune, I will say that too.

  4. 04

    Tune or repair

Thermal and power first, then OS and firmware, then any advanced memory or curve work we agreed. Logging continues throughout.

  5. 05

    Validate

Stress testing appropriate to the job. Any result that only exists in a short burst is rejected.

  6. 06

    Receive the report

Before/after numbers, what changed, stability tests passed, and notes so the settings can be restored later.
